GNI Nepal organized a ‘Half Yearly Review and Reflection Meeting’ from 8-10th August, 2017 in Kathmandu. Sharing the activities completed in January-June period, identifying gaps and challenges, charting a course of action for the remaining period of 2017 were the key objectives of the workshop. In total, 34 staff members participated in the meeting.
Country Director of GNI Nepal, Mr. Minho Choi, in his opening speech stressed on the timely completion of remaining activities in collaboration with local stakeholders and government agencies. GNI Nepal’s Senior Management Team shed light on people, policies, programs, process, performance, partnership, new projects and overall direction for the remaining months of 2017. Head of thematic departments, General Project Implementation Unit, Special Project Implementation Units interactive sessions with the district coordinators from thirteen project districts.
The three-day meeting was followed by a one-day program on ‘Leading Positive Change Through Appreciative Inquiry’. Participants learnt about appreciative/positive thinking, attitude and behavior; leadership and management, appreciative team building and establishing culture of continual learning through inquiry, spiritual wisdom and personal and team transformation.
