Birthing Centre and Two School Buildings Constructed and Handed over in Kailali

On 26 June 2018, the inauguration of newly constructed school building of Rukmani Basic School of Ward No. 5, Janaki Rural Municipality has been inaugurated by Pradip Kumar Chaudhary, Chairperson on Janaki Rural Municipality jointly with MinHo Choi, Country Director Good Neighbors International Nepal in presence of various Government Officials, local leaders, teachers, students and their parents. The school building has been constructed with the technical and financial support of 2.25 million rupees from GNI Nepal and 2 hundred 73 thousand rupees from the local community. The building is set to serve 111 students of Grade one to five.

On 25 June 2018, the newly constructed School Building of Gyanodaya Basic School of Ward No. 5, Tikapur Municipality of Kailali District has been inaugurated by Man Singh Bist, Regional Educational Director of Province No. 7 jointly with MinHo Choi, Country Director GNI Nepal in presence of Ward Chairperson, Education Officer, Resource Person, Head Teachers, local leaders, students and their parents and media personnel.  The building has been constructed with the financial and technical support of GNI Nepal at a total expense of 2.25 million rupees with a local community and school contribution of  2- hundred 56 thousand rupees. 114 students of Grade one to five will benefit from the two-roomed school building.

A Birthing Centre, located in Ward No. 6, Bardagoriya Rural Municipality has been constructed at a total expense 7 hundred 87 thousand rupees supported by GNI Nepal and a local community contribution of 1 hundred 73 thousand rupees.  The newly constructed three-roomed birthing centre was jointly inaugurated by Nanda Bahadur Saud Member, Provincial Assembly, Province No. 7 in the presence of Chairperson of Baradagoriya Rural Municipality, Ward Chairperson and members of Bardagoriya Rural Municipality, Health Post Management Committee, Female Community Health Volunteers and local community members on 24 June 2018.
