As a steering committee member of the MHM Partner Alliance, GNINepal and other alliance members jointly hosted an event in Kathmandu aimed at fostering a period-friendly world. The event featured panel discussions, poster presentations, and stalls from various organizations dedicated to breaking the stigmas and taboos surrounding menstruation.
GNI Nepal also organized a series of activities to commemorate the 10th Menstrual Hygiene Day at the community level. In Dhanusha District, the celebration included a drawing competition on the theme of 'MHM friendly schools,' where young artists from GNI Nepal-linked schools showcased their talent with beautiful drawings. #GNI Nepal team in Bajura District gave a cultural touch to the celebration by organizing Deuda ( a genus of song in a regional dialect of Nepal) competition in the participation of the community members. #Parbat District organized an orientation session for students to sensitize them on importance of the Menstrual Hygiene Management.
