Open Defecation Free declaration in seven VDCs – GNN Health Programme has objective to make environment healthy by providing technical and financial assistance to Village Development Committees (VDCs) of Community Development Project intervention areas. ODF is one of the activities that help to make the environment clean and healthy. This year GNN is able to declare six VDCs ODF zone. Name of VDCs is as follows:

• Pokhari VDC – 4 March 2014
• Sanoshree VDC (Bardiya)- 14 June 2014
• Patabhar VDC (Bardiya)-  5 March 2014
• Badikhel VDC – 8 November 2014
• Sangla VDC – 16 July 2014
• Futung VDC – 15 July 2014
• Ladagada VDC – 26 December 2014
