Good Neighbors International Nepal (GNI Nepal), in partnership with System Development Service Centre, has been enhancing the capacity for quality education in schools located in Phinam, Ward No. 4 of Gorkha Municipality. In such pursuit, three schools in the community—Saraswati Secondary School, Nawadurga Basic School, and Dhungegada Basic School—were provided with equipment such as carpets, foams, cushions, sets of smart televisions, boards, and speakers. This support aims to offer students better learning opportunities by promoting Information and Communication Technology (ICT) integration in  ECED classrooms and fostering a comfortable learning atmosphere. Such integration is expected to cultivate a favorable environment where students enthusiastically engage and participate in classroom activities. All materials have been handed over to the principals of the respective schools.

Additionally, we assist farmers in Phinam, Ward No. 4, Gorkha Municipality in cultivating high-quality, chemical-free products at minimal cost and effort through natural farming methods. In this endeavor, 27 farmers associated with Jankalyan Saving and Credit Cooperative have been supported with sets of sprayers, garden pipes, drums, sprinklers, and pheromone traps.
