Year-II Agreement has been signed between Good Neighbors International Nepal and UN-Habitat

A Year-II Agreement has been signed between Good Neighbors International Nepal and UN-Habitat to implement the project titled “Safety Net of Innovative Land Tenure Solutions for Near-Landless Sharecroppers and for a Greener Rural Nepal.” The project will take place in Rajpur, Gadawa, Rapti, and Lamahi municipalities of the Dang district.

Funded by the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs (MAFRA) of the Republic of Korea. The project aims to reduce landlessness while promoting climate-smart land use and farming practices.

These efforts are designed to enhance climate resilience and improve the livelihoods of Indigenous Tharu communities in the targeted areas. The project has been underway since mid-2024 and is being implemented by Good Neighbors International Nepal in partnership with UN-Habitat Nepal and the Community Self-Reliance Center (CSRC).
