• To reduce poverty and stimulate trade led economic growth through strengthening competitiveness of small scale coffee growers

Under “European Union Support to the Competitiveness of Quality Coffee in Nepal”, Good Neighbors International Nepal in   partnership with Beautiful Coffee Nepal (BeaCon) implemented the Coffee Value Chain Development (CVCDP), targeted to   small- scale coffee farmers and key stakeholders Kaski, Syangja, Gulmi and Palpa districts in Western Nepal.

This project has clearly rationalized the appropriateness of targeted districts-Gulmi, Palpa, Syangja and Kaski due to the major coffee growing   districts in Western Region of Nepal.

The project aimed to increase coffee production through plantation area expansion and increasing productivity of the coffee in   suitable ecological niches, with an aim of making coffee farming competitive and increasing the income of small-scale coffee   farmers.
