Goal
Improved sexual and reproductive health among adolescents through enhancing knowledge and creating adolescent-friendly environments
Objectives
- To enhance adolescents’ knowledge and awareness of key sexual and reproductive health (SRH) issues.
- To increase adolescents’ access to SRH resources and services through adolescent-friendly service centers (AFSCs).
- To ensure that schools are menstrual hygiene management (MHM) ready and supportive of adolescent health needs.
Achievements
- 470 adolescents, health workers, FCHV and local community leaders were oriented on ASRH and menstrual hygiene management issues
- awareness raising activities like wall painting, radio talk shows, radio jingles
- 4 menstrual hygiene management friendly school
- 2 adolescent friendly health services

Menstrual Hygiene Management (MHM) Pilot Project was carried out in , Kunjedi and Ladagada,Dipayal Silgadhi Municipality, Pokhari, Purbichauki Rural Municipality.
The major interventions of this project included ASRH and MHM training to health wokers, local community leaders, adolescent students and traditional healers; MHM orientation to S-WASH-CC, PTA and school teachers, hygiene kit distribution to schools and girls, MHM corner establishment, gender- friendly toilets construction
