Health Rights Improvement Project (HRIP) was implemented from 2020 to 2022 in Bajura District with the technical and financial support of Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) to improve the health rights of adolescent girls through an improved menstrual hygiene management (MHM) environment. The project covered Gaumul Rural Municipality, Khaptad Chhedadaha Rural Municipality, Budhiganga Municipality, Tribeni Municipality, and Badimalika Municipality.

HRIP adopted a comprehensive approach to improve WASH facilities in schools and communities for adolescents, with a focus on MHM. It supported 40 schools and 16 health posts to enhance awareness about MHM among students and community members by distibuting IEC/BCC materials.
