To improve health of community through WASH improvement at health facilities in Modi Rural Municipality, Parbat, Gandaki Province

Water and Sanitation for Health Facility Improvement Tool (WASH FIT) was carried out in Modi Rural Municipality in partnership with NCCDC Parbat to improve access to WASH services at health facilities.
The major interventions included maangement of safe drinking water,construction of handwashing station, waste pit and placenta pit construction, and renovation of toilets. The health workers and FCHVs also received training on WASH. The health mother groups (HMG) were also mobilized to raise awareness on WASH in the communities.
