Improvement in Health Status and Psychosocial Wellbeing of community people through post-disaster recovery of Health system
- To improve Maternal and Child Health (MCH) status in working communities.
- To improve Adolescents Sexual and Reproductive Health (ASRH) status.
- To improve students’ psychosocial status.
- To improve health facilities with functional equipment.
With financial and technical support from Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA), implemented Health System Recovery Project (HSRP) in 10 former village development committees of Nuwakot District, which have currently been merged into two municipalities and f ive rural municipalities. It benefited mothers, children, and adolescents.

Capacity building of health workers, schoolteachers, a health mothers group on MCH and ASRH, adolescent education on ASRH and MHM, construction of gender-friendly toilets and DWS, and MHM corner, and psycho- social support (PSS) training for health workers, teachers, and students support were the main interventions of HSRP, which led to an improved status of MCH and ASRH.
