Public Health Coordinator from GNI Nepal participated in a Knowledge Sharing Workshop, which was organized as a part of a joint research initiative of Tribhuvan University and the University of Pittsburgh. The workshop intended to shed light on the historical context and current state of Chhaupadi initiatives in Nepal. In the workshop, there was participation from like-minded organizations engaged in eradicating malpractices like Chhaupadi in Nepal. GNI Nepal shared insights derived from the implementation of the Health Rights Improvement Project (HRIP) for adolescent Girls through Menstrual Health and Hygiene Management, highlighting the effectiveness of mobilizing traditional healers to promote menstrual health and hygiene.
