Trees are being planted on the outskirts of a homestay run by the Sonaha and Tharu communities at Murghahuwa, Rajapur Municipality, Bardiya. This homestay was established to showcase and present the culture of these Indigenous communities and help them stand strong financially.
The tree plantation is an initiative to enhance the natural beauty of the homestay area, foster an eco-friendly environment, and attract more visitors. The homestay owners are taking full responsibility for nurturing these trees. With this, the communities can take a step in protecting the environment and promote eco-tourism.
