To enhance the sexual and reproductive health of adolescents through comprehensive sexuality education (CSE)

1. To enhance adolescents’ capacity to serve as local change agents for sexual and reproductive health (SRH).
2. To improve community knowledge and attitudes toward sexual and reproductive health.

Comprehensive Sexuality Education for Adolescents project was carried out in Mahottari to ehance the sexual and reproductive health of adolescents through comprehensive sexuality education (CSE). 

 The major activities conducted during the project intervertion included  Girls’ club Formation/ activation, monthly meeting, Kit for girls’ club members. These girls group were provided life skill training, CSE training  to capacitate and empower them. Camp were also organized for these children where they received rejunivating training sessions and games. 

The teachers recieved CSE training and a focal CSE teacher was selected in every school. Adolescent Friendly Information Corner (AFIC) were established in schools, a safe space for children. The community leaders, religious leaders and parents also received orientation on CSE. 

CSE training was also provided to local government and stakeholders. Policy development workshop on SRH with local government was also organized to endorse policy on CSE.
